School Run Chilly Swimmers - All Welcome!
We are always keen to support our families and local groups. We have been made aware of a swimming group that some of our families have been accessing and wanted to share a message from them:
All inclusive, we have Mums, Dads, Grandparents... everyone is welcome!
A place to meet new people as ‘buddies’ to explore the excitement of Wild Swimming. Lots of people will have heard of the hype that is cold water swimming and many intrigued by how on Earth it can be enjoyable! Be assured it is like nothing you can imagine even for those who hate the cold! Many of us do!
There are multiple benefits but one of the most important is how it gives you a boost in your emotional wellbeing and the feel good factor. It cannot be described, you just HAVE to experience it. We are all shapes and sizes, don’t be shy.
You will laugh, have great fun, be flooded with endorphins, meet new people, feel a sense of community, be supported, encouraged, cheered and above all have a massive sense of achievement. All whilst being in nature's playground.
